Our family run hotel in Cologne offers 16 non smoking rooms. Each room features:
- TV set
- Telephone
- Room safe
- Free wireless internet access
- Bathroom with shower and hairdryer
- Kettle and coffee/tea making facilities, iron and ironing board (on request)
The following room types can be booked by clicking on „reservation”.
Single
Our single room (108 sqft) has a big bed, storage and personal writing desk. Most rooms are also equipped with a refrigerator.
Double
The double room (162 sqft) is equipped with a double or twin beds , refrigerator, closet and writing desk.
Several doubles have recently been renovated and feature international power outlets, flatscreen TV and radio clocks with i-phone dock.
Superior Double/ Family room
Our superior double room (245 sqft) is very quietly located on our top floor (accessible by elevator). It is equipped with a queen size double bed (63x80 inches) with comfortable and extra large duvets and down pillows with Egyptian cotton sheets and linens. The room has been renovated and refurbished in 2010 and now offers flatscreen TV, airconditioning, coffee/tea making facilities, and a lot of extra storage, besides the above mentioned facilities.
In addition you will find a separated seating area with sofa and table. As the sofa can be converted into an extra bed, this room is also perfect for 3 persons or families. After the renovation this room is our favourite and really offers great value for money!
Junior Suite
The Junior Suite is our biggest room (366 sqft), it features a king size bed with comfortable and extra large duvets and down pillows with Egyptian cotton sheets and linens. In addition to the above mentioned standard facilities you will also find flatscreen TV, coffee/tea making facilities, airconditioning and a big desk with telephone and free internet access as well as plenty of storage space.
The suite also features a sofa (which can be used as an additional bed for one adult or up to 2 kids) and an extra chair with a table. Really beautiful and spacious daylight bathroom with tub and separate shower! This is certainly the nicest room we have to offer and a real treat!
Ground Floor Single
Our two single rooms on the ground floor are similar to the regular singles regarding size and features. Because of their location close to the reception and facing either the street or a small and rather dark backyard, we charge a lower rate, however the sound proofing is good, and they may be perfect if you are looking for an affordable short time accomodation.

Hotel Domstern Cologne also provides parking spaces (locked backyard or garage) for your stay directly at the Hotel for € 8,- per night. They can be booked together with your room reservation.
